چکیده

A novel ultra-wideband (UWB) reflectarray antenna for the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is introduced in this paper. By simply connecting neighboring elements, proposed achieves a remarkable radiation pattern bandwidth 20 GHz, ranging from 10 GHz to 30 GHz. To explain operating principles antenna, equivalent circuit (EQC) model unit cell built, which also provides an efficient and rapid way analyze performance element. It found EQC analysis that connected elements can achieve better reflection phase responses than conventional separated thereby improving array bandwidth. As proof concept, 503-element simultaneously covering vehicle-to-satellite bands (12.25–12.75 GHz/14.0–14.5 GHz/19.6–21.2 GHz/29.4–31.0 GHz), 24-GHz short-range vehicle radar band (24.25–26.65 GHz) 5G millimeter-wave (27.5–28.35 designed, fabricated, characterized. The experimental results demonstrate presented maintain undistorted beams, high gain, low cross-pol level, moderate aperture efficiency over 100%, i.e., With its simple planar as well excellent performance, be promising candidate vehicles require reliable data-rate satellite links connections simultaneously.

Novel Element For Bnadwidth Improvement Of The Reflectarray Antenna

In this paper novel reflectarray antenna elements are proposed using aperture-coupled dielectric resonator antenna structures. Using these new structures, wide phase range and wide frequency bandwidth (up to 28.5%) with parallel and linear phase curves are obtained. In each case, an array consisting of 289 elements was simulated using the finite integration technique (FIT). The arrays exhibit 3...

Single-Layer Dual-Band Dual-Linear-Polarization Reflectarray Antenna with Different Beams for Each Band

A novel single-layer unit cell structure is proposed to design a dual-band dual-linearpolarization reflectarray antenna with different beams for X and Ku bands. The unit cell structure is composed of a circular ring and two cross bow-tie structures combined by a circular patch. Five tunable geometric parameters can be optimized to achieve the required phase distributions of the reflectarray ant...

A Varactor Loaded Reflectarray Antenna

A new approach for beam steering in reflectarray applications is introduced in this paper. The progressive phase distribution is achieved by loading each microstrip patch element with a varactor diode on the radiating edges. The scattering characteristics of a single varactor loaded patch will be first presented. Then, as a test of the beam steering capability, a five elements linear reflectarr...
